The First Annual America Muscle Car Show and Charity Event Is Well Received
The 1st Annual America Muscle Car Show and Charity Event was held July 19, 2009 in Malvern, Pennsylvania. Participants and spectators were pleased with the turnout and planning is already in the works for the event to be held in 2010.
This show was held just outside of Philadelphia and it drew 150 of the regions museum-quality Mustangs and thousands of fans turned out to see the classic American muscle car. In addition, hundreds of other classic, muscle, and hot rod cars graced the scene giving visitors plenty to look at.
Judges awarded prizes to the winners in each category and the excitement of the day was felt by all who attended.
Finally, the best part of the show was the fact that it was created based upon the spirit of charity. All participants and visitors were charged to attend and all of the proceeds went directly to Homes for Our Troops, a charity that helps renovate or buy homes for disabled veterans of American wars. The founders of the show hoped to raise $5,000 to give to this charity. However, they surpassed all of previous expectations by raising over $8,000 to give to this very important group.
The success of this incredible show and the impact that it made on the community and the lives of our veterans will guarantee its return next year!
