2009 Chevrolet Camaro

The 2009 Chevrolet Camaro has many car enthusiasts feeling as if they traveled back in time to the 1960’s.  The make of the 2009 Camaro came out because Ford introduced the new styling on the Mustang.  Therefore, it was time for Chevy and Dodge to compete with pony cars of their own.  Dodge wasted no time in reintroducing the Dodge Challenger and Chevy decided to take it upon themselves to dust off the styling of the 1969 Camaro and give it some modern “zing.”  What is fabulous is that the Camaro has lost nothing over the past forty years and this car blends all of the new technology available with the shell of a classic muscle car.

It is no surprise that the changes to the body of the Camaro were inspired by an actual fighter jet.  The body is angular and sleek and you can almost picture it with wings.

However, the interior was inspired by the 1969 Camaro and unfortunately; it is not Chevy’s best effort.  Compared to the new console styling on many modern cars, this instrument panel is a little old fashioned.

Regardless of the interior, it still has to be said that the 2009 Chevy Camaro does a good job of bringing back the retro feel of the pony cars of the 1960’s.  Compared to the Mustang, the Camaro injects some modern features and style into this classic car.
