Locals in Plano, Texas are pretty lucky.  They don’t have to wait around for yearly muscle car shows that take place in other areas of the country, instead, they are able to drive down to the local Sonic and attend their own car show that happens once a month and that has not only grown in numbers but in stature too.           

The show is a “come one, come all” for car lovers in the Lone Star State and focuses on cars from the 1950’s through today.  In addition, the car show also has special categories surrounding specific models of cars like the Ford Mustang and the Corvette, allowing participants to be judged and compared against the best in each class.           

The show has expanded since its inception in 2006 and awards are given at the show each month.  New participants are welcome at anytime.  There are various criteria that each car is judged on and the specifics range from the exterior paint job to the interior upholstery to the overall cleanliness and appeal of the car.  Therefore, participants are encouraged to take care of each part on their pride and joy!
