If you happen to be around the Sanford, Florida area on October 3, 2009, you might want to swing by the 2^nd Annual Poker Run and Car Show that is being sponsored by the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office and the Seminole County Christmas Village.

Last year this event got off to a big start as a charity event in Florida and this year there was much interest in making it bigger and better than before.  Much of that interest came from the fact that this poker run and car show stands to benefit Child Protective Services of Seminole County, Florida.  There has been an increased focus in helping provide the children who are in this system with a happy Christmas and your support is needed to make sure this event is a success.

This show focuses on American muscle cars of the 1960’s and 1970’s and also gives mention to classic and hot rods from various points in American car history.

Finally, if you want to combine your love of cars with a little gambling action, hit up the poker tent and put your money where your mouth is.

All are welcomed to attend and participate.  Registration is currently taking place for this great show and event.
